Top 5 Places to Bike in Canada

Summer is here and that means it's time to go biking! But don't stick to your boring old local trail for your whole life! I've compiled a small list of some of the best, and most scenic trails in Canada.

1. The Ontario Waterfront trail. Ontario's waterfront trail ride is insanely beautiful, and a fairly easy ride. This trail takes youalongside the vast Lake Ontario. It makes up a whopping 780 km in total, but you can go as far as you want.

2. P.E.I's Confederation trail. The Confederation Trail is a great ride for beginner or lighter riders. It's not too hilly and not too long.It takes you through woodlands, rolling hills, and beautiful coastlines. It really is a sight to see.

3: British Columbia's Kootenay Rockies. If you're a little bit more hardcore, and sticking to the beaten path isn't really your thing, you'd love the trails in the Kootenay Rockies. These trails are not cut out for your average cyclist, for it takes you down a thin path with tough uphill climbs, tight corners, and extremely steep downhills. But if you think you're up for the challenge, it is a beautiful trail.

4: Kettle Valley Railway: The Kettle Valley Railway is an abandoned railway track that winds across the Okanagan and Similkameen regions in British Columbia. There are loads of amazingly beautiful trails here. With over 800 kilometers of trails to ride, you'll never get bored here. The most popular trail is an 80 km ride from Myra Canyon all the to Penticton.

5: Last but not least, we have Alberta's ride from Banff to Jasper. Said to be one of the most impressive trails in Canada, this long 290 km ride will take you through forests and alongside glaciers. The best part is, the mountains are always in sight. Again, not a good trail for beginners. It is reccomended that you are an experience and fit rider if you're doing this trail.
